Program Details

The Science Access Membership costs only $15 for a full year of benefits. The Access level is for those using NC EBT, SNAP, WIC, FDPIR, TANF, Supplemental Security Income, Social Security Disability Benefits, Medicaid, and Section 8 benefits. 

Science Access Memberships cover two named adults and their children/grandchildren under 18 and include all of the Family level membership benefits including:

  • Unlimited free admission to special exhibitions.
  • 20% discount in Museum Stores and 10% discount in Cafés.
  • Invitation to Member-exclusive events and preview parties (all ages).
  • Discounts on Museum programs, events, 3D Movies, Summer Camps and Birthday Parties.
  • 20% discount on Gift Memberships.
  • 20% discount on Museum Rentals (facility fee only).
  • Monthly Member eNews 

Do I qualify?

If you or any member of your household participates in one of the below programs, you are automatically eligible to become a Science Access Member household.

  • SNAP
  • WIC
  • FDPIR
  • TANF
  • Supplemental Security Income
  • Social Security Disability Benefits
  • Section 8

Not eligible on gift memberships. Additional discounts or promotions cannot be applied.
