Art of Science: Needle Felted Banners and Fall Leaves

The Art of Science series is for adults who like to blend science and art. Each program will include hands-on experience with a citizen science project paired with an associated art project. Participants will take home their project, supplies, and tools.
 
In this program, we will explore documenting phenology (nature's response to seasonal changes) as well as making a needle felted banner featuring fall leaves. Instructions for collecting and submitting data and making your banner will be provided during the program - no experience required! Your program fee covers the supplies needed to make one wool banner, but you will likely have enough wool left to make a second on your own.
