What is a soundscape, and how does sound affect our lives and those of other species around us? Join us for a sound walk for ages 5+ where we see what we can learn about Prairie Ridge through listening, discuss the role of sound in urban ecosystems, and participate in ongoing collaborative science efforts to document and map soundscapes in urban areas. Come dressed for the weather and prepared for about a mile of walking.
