Art of Science: Fireflies and String Art

DATE: Saturday 5/24/25 TIME: 1:00pm - 4:00pm

The Art of Science series is for adults who like to blend science and art. Each program will include hands-on experience with a citizen science project paired with an associated art project. Participants will take home their project, supplies, and tools.

In this program, we will explore documenting fireflies as well as make a LED lit string art project. Instructions for collecting and submitting data and making your string art will be provided during the program — no experience required! Your program fee covers the supplies needed to make one 12"x12" string art panel and tools to keep.
