Learn all about dragonflies and get a chance to photograph multiple species of dragonflies for the ecoEXPLORE Dragonfly Badge in this hands on program for kids grades K-8.
All children must be accompanied by a registered adult. Please wear closed toed shoes or bring boots for wading and dress for the weather. Bring a camera so you can document the species we see for your ecoEXPLORE dragonfly badge!
This in person program is especially for North Carolina kids in grades K-8, but everyone is welcome. You do not need to join ecoEXPLORE before the program, but should you choose to create an account for your child so they can get started documenting wildlife for scientists and earning fun naturalist prizes, visit ecoexplore.net.
